Blogging
A blog is the shortened version of the term 'Web Log' which can be used to post information about ones activites whether it be past, present or pre-planned future activities. Blogs generally have one author although that account can be shared if the authors wished to do so.
Information posted on a blog appears with a latest post at the top of a list of blog posts.
Anglo-Indian World collects excerpted blog posts from external Anglo-Indian websites as well as onsite posts of its own members in the blog-river:

The reason for calling the blog feed a 'Blog-River:'
Each blog post can be thought of as a drop of water, each author's blog can be thought of as a stream of water drops. The blog feed is called a blog river because it collects multiple blog streams from multiple blog authors with all the streams forming a larger blog river.
Can I have a blog account on Anglo-Indian World?
Yes all registered members receive a blogging account. Blog posts can be created anytime from anywhere on the website using the 'Contribute Option' in the above 'Action Bar' and then selecting 'Blog Post'
How long does it take for a blog to appear when published?
It takes about an hour for a blog post to appear in the blog-river. The blog-river is set to fetch new posts from multiple websites every hour and treats the on-site sream of Anglo-Indian World as a seperate websites (its a technical thing.)
On-site blog posts however appear immediately in the on-site blog-stream which can be viewed on:

I already have a blog and would like the blog to appear in the blog-river:
The contact form on http://angloindianworld.com/contact can be used to send details about your blog to the blog-river management unit.
